Amen to the quote above!  I tell ya sometimes we can be our own worst enemy by not trusting or believing in oneself.  Sometimes you have to trust the process, believe in yourself which will in turn help with trusting others who genuinely care for you and your well being.  Now that that's off my chest let's talk Kimonos.  I had seen pics of the ZARA kimono all over the web which I loved but wanted to go for something a little different so the search began and I stumbled upon Old Shanghai in San Francisco who had Kimonos galore in different prints and colors....no need to go on you see how the story ends...lol.

Fishnets & Jeans.....

I've been around the fashion block few times so believe me when I tell ya I've seen the fishnet trend reinvent itself a few times and I felt the need to partake:)  I threw this on to hangout at the Beer and Bacon fest in Oakland....classssy I know (I love the Oakland vibes).  Getting out of the car I noticed the graffiti matched my cardigan, so well to the point I damn near blended in so the LOML grabbed the camera and started snappin'.

When it comes to trendy/eclectic pieces I've never been one to shy away. Although, I must admit my trend shopping is a bit more conservative than in the past....translation...99.9% of the trendy items I currently own were marked down when purchased.  I've come to realize it's not that serious and my bank account definitely agrees.  Which brings me to my "shants" featured above.  I found these babies on Zara during their end of season sale.  They were a whole whopping $12.99.  Come to think of it damn near everything featured on this post (with the exception of my Fendi I bought ions ago) was purchased on sale...the budget is real people...lol.
